Boots HQ

Manstal Ltd completed full Lighting and control upgrade to Boots Headquarters in Nottingham.

Works were carried out in a fully operational building, at night, over the course of 3 phases. The old lighting and controls were removed and new low energy LED lighting and energy saving digital lighting controls installed. Following each night shift, all areas had to be up and running – ready for next days business.

This project included may elements of electrical installation as listed below.

• Removal and correct disposal of over 10,000 old T5 light fittings
• Installation of new control cabling and control equipment
• Installation and cabling upgrade works to allow installation of stand alone self testing and reporting emergency lighting systems
• Installation of new LED lighting, with some being custom made to suite existing apertures to keep builders works and patch up costs down
• Integration and programming of logical energy saving controls to each fittings utilizing Dali Helvar control gear
